BECOMING A BALANCED TREE

Doing yoga can help you become more balanced and it helps center your body. I know it might be scary to start, but trust me it's worth it. Once you start, you may feel unbalanced while doing poses, but after a while and after practicing you will become better at staying balanced

While doing headstands it's important to remember to hold your core, and not be putting pressure on your neck. After practicing holding your body up with your core instead of your neck. But, remember to breathe while doing it. When you think of holding your core you may think of becoming tense and to stop breathing. But in reality you have to train your body to hold your core while breathing. It's very important to maintain a steady breath.

For help with balance, when I do handstands I think of trees! When I think of trees I think of their roots and how the roots hold them stable. After thinking of tree roots I slowly raise my legs as if the tree is growing branches. When you think about trees it keeps your mind focused on one thing instead of your mind jumping from one thought to another.
